Today's been a geeky day. I conducted some of the final tests which confirmed that equinox has not got any hardware failure, but something's wrong with its Marvel Yukon ethernet interface driver. It's nothing serious; the NIC just stops responding when doing huge (>10 GB) wired network transfers and there's my 3com hub in between. Everything works flawlessly when the computer is connected to a network switch or directly to another computer. So I'm going to need to buy a new network switch (D-Link's DGS-1008D available for 77 EUR at pcgreen may be a good option).
Additionally I posted a new entry on Geek To Geek regarding the diagnostics mode you can enter using the climatronic console of your VW-Audi car.
As usual I've been thinking about life today, as well. I'm just too tired to write about it now, so I think I'd better leave it for tomorrow :)

So I will wait until tomorrow for reading your thinkings! I hope I will be so tired to forget it!
ReplyDeleteYou have to explain me how you found this surrealist network failure!
