Què t'he fet?

Benvolgut dos mil set,

Admetem-ho. Tu i jo no ens portem molt bé. Hem començat de la pitjor manera que es poden començar les coses: amb tot de cara, amb tot en contra. Amb obstacles a cada passa, caminant per un camí desert en què el final queda engolit per la boira.

No puc deixar de preguntar-me què t'he fet perquè em tractis així. Els teus predecessors, especialment des de dos mil quatre, han sigut una agradable companyia. Amb tibantors, sí, perquè de tibantors sempre n'hi ha, però amb un balanç positiu.

També em pregunto si potser tractes d'enviar-me un senyal. D'indicar-me que en el fons ets el final d'un període, i potser el principi d'un següent.

- "Estic fent res malament?", et torno a preguntar. La teva resposta és molt important, perquè estic disposat absolutament a tot. Però com saber què fer i què no fer? Em sento com el pres a qui han privat de la seva llibertat sense una causa, sense un judici. Quin sentit té la presó si no et queda ben clar per quin motiu t'empresonen?

Amb total franquesa, desitjaria, ara que encara estem a temps, que reconduïssim la situació. Que donéssim un bon exemple d'estar a l'altura de les circumstàncies. Perquè passar un any sencer amb tu d'aquesta manera se'm faria, com diuen els anglosaxons, unbearable.
